On Sunday Dec. 4th 2016, all five of our rookie FTC teams packed up their finished robots and headed to Columbia Academy in Columbia Heights to compete for the first time. This year we decided against having one large FTC team with a larger budget because we wanted everyone on Team 2526 to have the opportunity to learn and develop skills they otherwise wouldn’t. At competition, we brought our Crimson Pride and had far more participants than other school there. By the end of the tournament, all of our teams had performed very well. Team E placed in the top ten robots and Team C received the Connect Award for their outreach efforts in the community. Congratulations to everyone on Team 2526 who participated in FTC, you all did extremely well!
